Cohen you are seriously the happiest little boy I have ever met.
You are 110% all {BOY}
Don't let those good looks fool anyone. You are {KING} at being mischievous. We can't go a second without you climbing in the refrigerator, crawling under the console, tearing the toilet paper in half, putting Daisy's dog food in your mouth, or splashing in her water bowl. When we say "Cohen, no, no, " You repeat, "nah, nah" and go ahead and do it anyway. Lately when I ask you to come, especially when you are outside, you'll start to run away and look behind you smiling like you are going to escape.
You love your {mama} more than anyone else. You love to have Grandma Turner babysit you and you are Grandpa Turner's "little buddy". You adore your older brother and curiously watch everything he does. You run to the door when Daisy barks, signaling that Dad is home. You love to wrestle with dad but you are no match for his tickle torture.
Any time there are other kids around you are intrigued and I can tell you can't wait to be doing the same things they are.
You get so excited when someone chases you or plays hide and seek. Your favorite toy by far is a basketball and you love to shoot hoops and play catch with Daisy. You also love to be pushed around in anything that will simulate a car (diaper box, wagon, LaGrand's rip rider 360 etc)
You love swimming but get distracted by the pool basketball hoop which is extremely tough to reach, but you attempt to get the ball in the hoop every time with a big grunt as you hoist the ball as hard as you can in the air. You love to run under the pool shower even more.
You started walking two days before your first birthday and have been running (and bonking your head) ever since from your speed.
You are still not sleeping through the night demanding a bottle at around 11 pm and pleading to sleep with mom and dad at around 3 am. You then take over the entire bed, kicking and rolling around until your eyes pop open at exactly 6:00 am every morning, like an alarm clock.
You are such a little snuggle bug which dad and I thoroughly enjoy. In the morning you will spend another 10 minutes after waking up in our bed just to enjoy the soft pillows and rolling around in the blankets. Any time there are pillows or blankets on the ground you curl up in them. Your blue fuzzy blanket is still your favorite.
You love to be outside finding sticks and bugs, going for walks with Daisy or playing in the backyard. You've even crossed the "grass barrier".
You have 8 teeth and will eat most of the things we eat including your regular favorites; strawberries, chicken, cheezits, cheese, and canned green beans. In the grocery store you are content to have an apricot, peach or nectarine to chomp on.
You are so loving & sweet & the past year as been amazing to see you discover new things.
You were such a sweet infant & very seldom cried and even today you are such a happy boy...(as long as mom is in site) I hate it when I am away from you too.
You still love to read and will bring books to me and sit down comfortably in my lap to listen to a story.
You love to dance when music is played. Even when the ABC 11 theme song comes on T.V you'll stand in front of the screen and move around, looking around to make sure people are watching. The only thing that will get you upset is when you can't watch the Wiggles on the computer.
I love that I get to be your mom & I can't wait to see what adventures the next year will bring.
